This development at Quignalecka, in Ballina Co. Mayo, of 150 houses that encompasses a range of 3, 4 and 5-bed detached and semi detached house types. Bourke Construction have created many desirable homes in Ballina by focusing on the quality of the finish, choice of materials and the innovative use of modern technology. The high quality craftsmanship of Bourke Builders was translated into the beautiful and individual interior finishes of each home. Also the efficient management of time and materials onsite resulted in houses that were developed within programme and on budget.

Bourke Construction inhouse Architecture/Engineering Design Office carried out the design of the development . This allowed Bourke Construction to offer more flexibility to prospective purchasers, allowing them to adapt and change elements of their future home.

Quignalecka in Ballina was also a pioneering development of houses as it was one of the first residential developments to be approved as "Houses of Tomorrow" by Sustainable Energy Ireland (S.E.I.). This identified housing developments that incorporated innovative environmental features such as solar panels, heat recovery systems and highly efficient heating systems. Energy performance in these houses is 40% better than required by the current building regulations with the insulation and air tightness of the building fabric that exceed requirements
